Drawing - Natural Artifice

In 2011 I attended the National Architecture Conference in Melbourne. The conference theme was 'Natural Artifice'. I drew what images where being shown on the projectors by some of the speakers. Each drawing features aspects from a variety of images. I guess they show the visual narative of each speakers presentation and what my eyes were drawn to.

I bought this red wig and made a few images playing with the idea of anonymity, the mundane and using the solid block of colour. I really enjoy how the colour completely distracts you from the rest of the image. The red captures an initial interest/response and then the viewer perceives the emptiness of the image.
